Here's a view of the work I presented for the final critique of my MFA program. I still have 2 and a half months before my defense, but this work is looking forward to my thesis work.
A quick walkthrough.
The orange presented as a calendric recording of time and past events. A counting of the days/units of time, imposed onto an orange, suggesting a micro/macro view of units of time. An exploration of habit/repetitive systems of making. Evoking a longing for touch.
