Here's a couple of paintings I have been thinking about in terms of my own work.
I like the bold and free-wheeling brushstrokes. I want to build up my colour in patches so that you get a thick and glistening surface. I want to get the bodies in my paintings feel like actually bodies when I'm painting them. I want their colour and strokes to be orchestrated. I want to contrast flat with textured and big strokes with small strokes. Lots of painting to do ;)
