Figure drawing Feb 13

Recent figure drawing session at UVic.

Conte crayon. I think this is the best hand I have ever drawn.
The model was starting to do some static poses. Inspired by snooping around in the 2nd year painting studio where someone was doing a cubist-style piece, I thought I'd try a drawing using two views of the model. I've done this before and used it in a few of my "Vulnerability" paintings and I've always liked the results of this technique. It's an interesting experiment in form and space, it breaks boundaries.
Also conte crayon. I liked how it looked with only the leg and knee fully developed and the rest left unfinished. Like an unfinished sculpture it brims with potential energy.
